There are two types of installation procedures for paint protection films. Firstly, when the elements are covered manually, this is called bulk installation; secondly, when a pre-edited pattern is machine-cut and installed on that given element. The advantage of bulk installation is that it is up to the installer to solve a surface that is often more aesthetic than based on a template. The advantage of a pattern installation is that the material will be stretched to a lower extent in some areas.

The most important factor when talking of pattern installation is the provision of professional patterns. Skyfol uses a software for PreCut that includes plenty of European models and fits the elements perfectly. The patterns are individually taken of each car by hand and then digitialized to ensure a perfect fit. Templates can be ordered in cut-out form by the installer, or you can obtain your own cutting machine and cut the material for the car on site.

Skyfol PreCut is a paint protection film specifically designed for the ideal installation of patterns, with a strong adhesive and soft structure to make it easier to conform to curves.
