When founding our company in 1990, we had two basic principles in mind: on the one hand, to introduce automotive and architectural window films of raw materials that had been not accessible before; on the other hand, to ensure perfect application by creating a professional network of installers. As of today, we have reached both aims – however it doesn’t mean we can sit back and relax. What were the main stages of our journey so far?

For more than 40 years, our family has been dealing with the distribution of automotive and architectural window films - more specifically, we imported such materials to Hungary first in 1982. A few years later, we were already on the market as an official distributor of Sun-Gard, and in 2003 we started building a network of installers nationwide. Relatively fast and considerable growth was achieved and several installers from the surrounding countries indicated that they would be happy to work with us. Since this was not supported by Sun-Gard's distribution system, we made a major decision in 2008 and established the first brand in the region, Skyfol. Although the initial aim was solely to serve neighboring markets, we soon realized that we had much bigger possibilities, because we were not tied to the products of a single manufacturer, but we were able to get our individual products from the most specialized manufacturer of the technology. Skyfol immediately became popular among our partners and set off on a European route of expansion. We are proud that the world's leading manufacturers concluded delivery agreements with us.

Our greatest value is our professional installation network, since it would be in vain to deliver quality raw materials if actual installation was not professional; therefore we only work with qualified installers and highly experienced European distributors. What does it mean to be a qualified partner? Our partners regularly take part in our theoretical and practical trainings. Getting into this circle is not an easy task, as only those who qualify for very serious professional conditions can obtain this partner rating. One cannot enter the Skyfol installation network after a single one-day training. We would like to work with partners in the future who are passionate about their work and put great emphasis on quality.

Since the foundation of K&R Trading Co. Ltd., one of the branches of the company is the distribution of automotive window films - the founders of our company in 1982 were the first ones to introduce window films in Hungary. Until 2008, we played the role of the local distributor of US-based Sun-Gard, and later we made a serious decision and established the first private brand of the region, Skyfol. In the following period, Skyfol automotive and architectural window films appeared in neighboring countries, as well as in more remote parts of Europe. Architectural window films

There is no single major producer of window films in Europe; if we are looking for a manufacturer with serious technology, the US, Israel and India shall be taken into consideration. Consequently, architectural window films are generally not designed for European glazing systems. Because of the fact that we are independent of manufacturers, we can choose to take different series of films to our range from several producers. As a result, we keep on stock the most suitable film series for glazing systems in Europe.

 In addition to the right products, installation is of crucial importance. For us, it is a prerequisite that we only work with installers who would be allowed into our own homes, too. Our installer base and distributing partners are highly professional according to even international standards, and we do our best to find the right solution for your needs.
