Before use, please check the roll in all cases for manufacturing defects. Problems originating from production appear in most instances because of improper winding, which is instantly visible after opening the PPF box. If you encounter such an issue, do not start using the film, take photos of the problem and inform us by attaching the filled-in claim form as well.

 

When using the film, never unwind it directly from the box, otherwise tunnelling issues might occur. If you have a plotter machine, utilize it for unwinding, as it will keep the roll tight. If you do not have such a machine available, it is a good idea to place the roll on a table; to avoid it rolling back, use some turbo squeegees (practically as rubber wedges).

 

When removing the cap sheet and unwinding the film, it is often a problem that contamination gets on the surface – the reason being that static electricity is generated when the cap sheet is removed. It is important to remove the cap sheet right before installation begins. While doing so, continuously spray the installation liquid onto the film, this way preventing contamination from sticking on the surface.

 

It is important to close the remaining part of the roll tightly, i.e. by applying a self-adhesive tape at 5 places. Rolls that do not have the cap sheet on must be stored vertically, or otherwise they might get damaged. Rolls that still have the cap sheet on can be stored horizontally as well. Make sure the film is stored between 18-22o C and with a relative humidity of 40-60%.
