The Skyfol E series has low emissions, designed to reflect heat generated inside, thus preventing heating energy from leaking out through the glass. It is not negligible that even in summer, incoming heat is also filtered to some extent by the film, thus reducing the cost of cooling.
The Skyfol E series performs best on regular single and dual pane, uncoated low-e glasses, by helping reduce the amount of heat leaving the room. On more advanced glazing systems the payback period is very long. If there is no low-e coating on the glass, Skyfol E is a good alternative.
